Sweets Candy Company

Yesterday Addy and I went to Sweets Candy Company with a play group that I joined a few months ago. We got to tour the factory and it was so much fun! We all had to wear hair nets, even the babies. Addy was sooo cute with her little hair net on (her hair net was actually a beard net! ha). She was really good about wearing it too. She didn't even try to pull it off. It was fun and interesting to see how they make salt water taffy, cinnamon bears, jelly beans, sour stars, and chocolate covered candies. Addy was great through most of the tour and very vocal. She jabbered the WHOLE time! Maybe to the point where it was a little distracting. She just has so much personality. I am constantly laughing about the little things she does, and I just can't get over how darn cute she is! I know I'm biased! She has been very sensitive to sudden loud noises lately so she did cry big crocodile tears when a crate or something was dropped. Oh, and when a cute little boy from play group squealed happily. The thing I don't get is that she makes those noises ALL OF THE TIME! She can dish it out, but I guess she can't take it. Anyway, we sampled some of the candy while we were on the tour and then at the end they have a shop where you can buy candy. Of course I bought a big bag of taffy and some chocolate covered cinnamon bears for mom. They have some great new flavors like Moose Munch(chocolate, caramel and popcorn flavors), chocolate chip cookie dough and huckleberry. If you are ever in Salt Lake, Sweets Candy is a fun place to visit!

That hair net is so cute. That's funny that they made the kids wear them too.

Yay! I found your blog! I hope you don't mind but I copied the group picture. We should go back to Sweets soon!

When you find my blog, clink on "My Cooking Blog" on the left side. I haven't really updated it but maybe we can collaborate. :)

PS - all your photos/posts are darling. You're so creative with all your projects! You honestly inspire me.
